School Readiness is a fee-based program that is available to children who are 4 and 5 years old. School Readiness provides an opportunity for social, intellectual, and emotional growth alongside other four and five year olds and a licensed teacher. Our preschool program emphasizes activities in all areas of growth and learning. Research-based High Scope curriculum, implemented in classes, teaches children to initiate, discover, experience, and learn about ideas, events, and people. Children will create, experiment, problem-solve, and resolve conflicts as they learn. This approach enhances each young person's growth in the foundations of academics as well as in social-emotional, physical, and creative areas. The development of each child is discussed with parents/guardians. The program includes a diverse grouping of children reflective of our community and inclusive with early childhood special education. Applications and required documentation must be submitted at the time of registration.

Notification of enrollment:  Once you receive confirmation of acceptance, a non-refundable fee of $50 per child (or $100 per family) will be required to hold your spot. If a class fills, families will be placed on a waitlist and notified as openings become available. All families are encouraged to apply, as waitlists change frequently. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
